About My Next 25 Years

Hi, my name is Brooks.

I graduated from college 4 years ago & I have made very little progress in my life plan...well, I have made progress it's just been in a lot of different directions.

For a couple of years I designed and sold jewelry, (among other things,) at a local arts market. 

I've got three good ideas for books that I work on from time to time as well as illustrating a children's book that I wrote. 

I've started a photography business that is growing slowly but surely and I think that it may be what I could love doing for the rest of my life. 

I have also been nannying for a family of two girls whom I love very much for the past three years. 

I went on a handful of interesting but awkward blind dates until the last blind date...when I met my love, Brian. 

I really don't know what I want to be, but I know who I am. 

I am a daughter, a sister, a new aunt and a friend. 

I am a photographer, a Vegan and a White Sox fan. 

I love my dog, Atticus, more than I like a lot of people. 

I love writing, I want to start a vegetable garden and I love yoga but wish that I did it more than I do. 

I started this blog when I turned 25, because it seemed like a time in my life when everyone around me knew what they were doing or where they were going...and I didn't.  

So join me here from time to time as I try to focus on where I am rather than where I am going.
